The vagina is a remarkable organ.Not only capable of distension,but keeps itself clean.Contains cells acted upon by a small bacillus living in there to produce lactic acid that has pH of about 3.8-4.5 kills any contaminating germ.
Not withstanding, conscious effort is also required in maintaining a balanced pH.
